Who are we?

Gospel-centred, Intergenerational and Family-focused

Welcome to Hope EFC! Hope EFC comprises people who have put their faith and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. That doesn’t make us perfect. It just means that in Jesus Christ we have found forgiveness and fulfilment, purpose and hope. More profoundly, God has promised his grace and presence to take us through life’s journey.

We are also intentionally intergenerational. As far as possible we keep families together for our fellowships and allow everyone in the family young and old to participate, especially during our Worship Services. Join us as a people united in worshiping the living God, deepening our fellowship, growing in faith, and serving our community. We’d love to have you worship with us soon.

Hope EFC is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Malaysia and NECF (National Evangelical Christian Fellowship) Malaysia.

Sunday Worship Service

10am to 12pm

Holy Communion is held every first Sunday of the month

Breakfast is available from 9.15am to 9.45am. To attend, just walk-in. No prior registration is required.

Small groups enable members to connect and participate in body-life more intimately. It also offers a safe place to disciple one another intentionally. This is why we call these groups Discipleship Groups or DGs.

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday catering for 2 age groups: Junior 3 to 6 years old and Senior for 7 to 12 years old children.

Serving the Community

He gave himself for us, to rescue us from all wickedness and to make us a pure people who belong to him alone and are eager to do good.

School for the Refugees

Children’s Training Center is a learning centre that was established to provide refugee children an opportunity for basic primary school education. The Learning Centre which is endorsed by UNHCR, was started in 2009 and refugee teachers are among our teaching staff. Enrolment as at mid-2024 is close to 300, comprising various nationalities and ethnicities. CTC offers schooling from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Helping the Marginalised

Hope EFC ministers to the needy and especially the aged in our neighborhood. Festive seasons in particular allow our members to spend time with those who don’t have families to celebrate with.

Orang Asli

The indigenous people who live on the fringes of society are often left out of national development. Hope EFC has been actively engaged with a few villages, sharing the good news, assisting to develop sustainable economies and serve the common good for a number of years.

Conversational English

In collaboration with Genesis Origo, these Conversational English classes are designed to help anyone aged 17 and above improve their spoken English skills. This is a complimentary (Free) class held 3 times a month.

Mission Abroad

Hope EFC supports missions in South Asia and is actively involved with ministries in Indochina. Talk to us to find out more if you wish to be involved, or to pray for missionaries and their work abroad.

Joint Church Camp

Gospel-Centred Discipleship. Our camp speaker is Rev. Tim Nicholls. The camp would be held at Grand Kampar Hotel from 12th September to 14th September

Have questions about Jesus?
